Your role at Signature

Cheerful, caring and compassionate and with a great eye for detail, you’ll need to be a self-starter - able to work alone, but just as happy as part of a team. You’ll need to make professional, responsible decisions with minimal supervision, showing your ‘can-do’ attitude, and always acting with our residents’ best interests in mind.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for taking residents out and about in our vehicle – so you’ll need a full, clear UK Driving Licence. It’ll also be your job to keep the vehicle clean and in excellent working order, checking it before taking residents out and helping them in and out comfortably and with dignity. You’ll need to chat to residents and co-workers while out and about, and if the home car isn’t available, you’ll be the one to arrange a Taxi for residents instead.

Inside the home, you’ll help arrange reservations and appointments and trips out, giving information to residents and family members about both the property itself and the local area – you’ll be on top of whatever’s going on nearby, like special events and activities, so residents can make the best of them.

You’ll also be the first line of communication internally, keeping everyone in the loop on what’s going on inside and outside the home, working closely with residents and their families to make sure everyone is happy and cared for.
