In your new role as a Lead Support Worker, you’ll be responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families, in line with our designated carer model.

You’ll be responsible for promoting an alliance with the residents to sustain and improve health and social wellbeing. You’ll provide hands-on care, physical and emotional support, all while maintaining a safe, comfortable environment that makes residents feel at home.

  • Shift times: 07:00 - 19:30, 19:00 - 07:30 Alternate weekends required

You’ll have experience of support work in a care setting, and you’ll have obtained or will be working towards your Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3. You’ll also have a Diploma in Team Leading Level 2, or will be working towards it.

You’ll need an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and an ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident’s best interests. An ability to handle multiple priorities is also key in this role.
