The Colleague Experience and Engagement Partner will play a central role in bringing Signature’s new Vision and Values to life across our homes and support functions. You will translate our ambitions for culture, leadership and colleague experience into practical, everyday experiences that our teams can see and feel.
At Signature, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people. We are known for beautiful homes, outstanding hospitality and high-quality care, but what really makes Signature special is the experience created by our teams every day.
As we continue to grow, open new homes and bring our new Vision and Values to life, we are looking for someone who is passionate about people, culture and leadership to help us create something truly remarkable.
This is not a traditional HR role. It is an opportunity to influence how people feel when they join Signature, how they experience work, how they develop as leaders, how they grow their careers and, ultimately, why they choose to stay.
One day you could be facilitating a leadership workshop. The next, you might be coaching a Home Manager, running a listening session with colleagues, reviewing the onboarding experience, developing new career pathways or helping a leadership team address a difficult cultural challenge.
This is a highly visible and hands-on role. You will spend meaningful time in our homes, working alongside leaders and colleagues to understand what helps teams thrive, where barriers exist and what needs to change.
You will not simply recommend the approach. You will design it, build it and deliver it.
Bringing Our Vision and Values to Life
You will help turn Signature’s new Vision and Values into clear, observable behaviours that colleagues at every level can understand, recognise and use.
Creating an Exceptional Colleague Experience
You will review the full colleague journey, from attraction and onboarding through to development, progression, recognition and retention.
Developing Great Leaders
You will build and deliver a leadership development approach for colleagues at every leadership level, from supervisor upwards.
Building Coaching and Listening Capability
You will be a practising coach who is comfortable delivering coaching directly, both one-to-one and in groups.
Using Insight to Drive Meaningful Action
You will help us understand our culture and colleague experience through evidence, not assumption.
Supporting Talent, Progression and Retention
You will help colleagues see a future for themselves at Signature.
Driving Positive Change
You will help turn good ideas into practical and sustainable change.
This role is not for someone who wants to sit in meetings all day. It is for someone who loves being with people.
Someone who is naturally curious, asks great questions and genuinely wants to understand why some teams thrive while others struggle. Someone intrigued by why people stay, why they leave and what makes them feel proud of the work they do.
You will probably be at your happiest facilitating workshops, coaching leaders, spending time in our homes and helping teams solve real challenges.
You will be warm, energetic, practical and approachable. You will have presence and be prepared to challenge positively, while assuming the best intentions in people.
You will know how to influence confidently without relying on hierarchy. You will be comfortable starting with a blank page, but disciplined enough to turn ideas into plans, measures and sustainable change.
Most importantly, you will care deeply about creating environments where people can do their best work, grow their careers and feel proud of what they achieve.
We are looking for someone who wants to put their bag down and build something worthwhile. Someone who is passionate about professionalising the care sector and improving the working lives of the people who provide exceptional care.
In three to five years, we want you to be able to look back with pride and say: “I helped build that.”
If you are energised by helping people thrive, curious about what creates great workplace cultures and happiest spending time with teams in the real world rather than sitting behind a desk, we would love to hear from you.
