Your role at Signature

Use your experience and passion for amazing food, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Sous Chef. You'll take on an important role in a superbly-equipped kitchen at our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate.

What you will do

Signature at Reigate Grange are holding weekly drop in sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 4pm. You can pop in at any time and meet our friendly team, there will be opportunities to have a look around our beautiful home and speak to our teams about opportunities we have available.  If you bring your updated CV you may be able to have an interview on the day!

As Sous Chef you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our busy kitchen running smoothly. Second in command to the Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every meal that leaves the kitchen is nutritious and restaurant quality.

You’ll manage and develop the Chef de Partie and Commis Chef, sharing your experience and knowledge.

You’ll also use your creativity and passion to help the Head Chef to regularly review and develop the menu.

• From £17.00 per hour  
• Shift times: 07.00-15.30 / 10.00-18.00 / 12.00-20.00. Alternate weekends required.

With 5 years’ experience working in a kitchen and an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Food & Hygiene or Catering Services, you know your way around a kitchen. Supervisory experience, awareness of COSHH, and a cool head, even in a hot kitchen, are a big advantage.
